Job Scope:

  • Content generation
(For marketing communications and creativity for Blog, LinkedIn, Donors)

--> Construct timeline of upcoming events
--> Design poster or infographic for upcoming events/cerebrations
--> Produce creativity communication materials using Canva

I constructed a timeline of upcoming events (eg. world Autism day) with an event description and possible campaign ideas, Next, I would start few different designs to generate content for marketing tools (poster, video, infographic) relating to the upcoming Club Rainbow campaigns events. posters based on the event and even our monthly education topic on our beneficiaries which require me to research more on the event's history, using design platform like "Canva"

  • Donor Engagement
    (Connect, Interact and Retention)

--> Sort, Edit and Filter of donor’s data on excel sheet
--> Retention through telemarketing
--> Doing the SOP script as part of business contribution
--> Follow - up on retention calls
--> Email/sending out Thank you letter

Using Club Rainbow's past year donors list, I was asked to sort them based on their donation cycle, Next was the editing of the excel sheet to identify their first name, follow up by filter of donor’s data from completing the cycles and not completing the cycles.

Once that is done, I would require to do retention on donors that fail to complete its donation cycles through telemarketing. It is also the first time that Club Rainbow uses telemarketing to contact the donors. Therefore, being the first person tasked to do it, I was nervous and unsure. Since it was a challenge when I was only given a draft script to refer to when calling and this was not sufficient at times when I need to answer donors’ enquiries. However, after numerous calls, I understood how to respond appropriately and was receiving tips from another supervisor at sounding more confident on the phone. Given my hands-on experience of engaging with the donors, I was assigned to create a new standard operating procedure (SOP) calling script as a form of business contribution. (See photo below for some sample)

Follow - up on retention calls,
And sending "Thank you" letter
to donors.

Furthermore assisted in several small campaigns, for instance, the “thank you” video campaign working with an external organisation (Giving.sg), in reaching out to beneficiary using Mailchimp encourage them to film a short video clip of them saying thank you to the donors and company whom being supporting us as one of our marketing content. What I do is to firstly, learn the navigation of the website form for the video submissions, then try sending one out. As Giving. sg will be the one consolidate all the video and combine it together, I have created a guideline manual for our beneficiaries' families to follow.

The CRS families Video Feature - June 2020, Where I helped in connecting the beneficiaries with our teams ( my supervisors and two external writers), working on content ideas to put up, doing transcript and guiding our beneficiary into the filming process. This was in the late April, I was giving a new campaign on the “June video feature about covid-19” which I would need to engage the beneficiaries' parents with a series of interviews and collection of several video recording clips as to publicity on how lives have changed for them before and after COVID. Being in this project allows me to have direct interaction with the beneficiaries’ parents and to understand how they are affected by covid issues. The interview will be done through our zoom meeting which will be recorded, transcribed and assisting them in filming their environment, once both recordings and video are collected we will then compound it into one video. One of the challenges for this is communication and time management, since we are unable to visit the families homes the parents would need to
